Booking period is August 27 to September 2, 2018. This might be extended by PAL. Lately they have been extending the booking period of their promo fares but Piso Sale Team suggest that you book asap because of the LIMITED sale slots. First come, first serve basis.

Domestic flights covered by this promo will have the travel period September 1 to March 31, 2019. That’s like a few months of chances of getting the cheapest airfare and flying Philippine Airlines. Check out the 2019 holidays and plot your travels as early as now.

International flights covered by this Philippine Airlines Ultimate Seat Sale starts October 1 to March 31, 2019. No concrete info yet if this promo will be another Round-Trip Seat Sale, it might be.

What to Prepare While Waiting for the BOOKING PERIOD to start?

Are the Promo Rates REAL?

Of course, they are! All airlines which will launch seat sale must submit the particulars to CAAP to get approval. Any fake promos will be investigated, and the airline will face sanctions and fines if ever they advertised false promotions.

However, some people easily get frustrated when they don’t see promo rates on the first few dates that they’ve checked so they will cry “fake promo”.  In truth, they are just ignorant, they don’t know that promos are always LIMITED QUANTITY and that the promo fare will be distributed to different dates, so in effect, not all dates will show promo.

What is the significant of BASE FARE Promo?

As mentioned above, the upcoming PAL Ultimate Seat Sale offers base fare promo rates for Domestic one-way flights. The quoted prices that will be released per route is not the final price. The final ticket price will be the base fare promo rate + taxes + ticketing service charge + airport terminal fee + VAT.

Example if the promo rate says the lowest for a particular destination, let’s say Manila to Basco Batanes is 199 pesos, expect that final price will be above 600 pesos. Maybe even around 700 to 900 pesos depending on additional fees. Will Batanes tickets be on sale? We don’t know yet as of today. We will all know come August 27.
